I was born and raised in the Tampa Bay area and grew up as a little fetus-punk ass listening to Bubba on the Power Pig. I first connected with Bubba back in 2000 when my then girlfriend began with him as an intern for his show at 98 Rock. She would later become an assistant producer and would frequently have to watch Tyler when Bubba was getting into a cricket caper and was often dispatched to Tiera Verde to try and wrangle Bubba’s wild dog, Hootie. I would go to CD signings and appearances and help her setup and breakdown the event. Bubba barely noticed me and that was probably for the best. I was able to parlay my connection with Bubba into a legal internship with Stephen and Jay Diaco in 2002. I would work for them for the next 4 years while finishing up my undergraduate degree at the University of South Florida (Go Bulls) and obtaining my Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law. After law school I continued to work as a personal injury attorney and all-around right-hand man to Stephen Diaco until 2014. In those years, I would help Bubba with numerous legal issues including liability waivers for various stunts like a 20-foot stripper pole and a motocross event that Bubba was hosting. I also assisted Jay Diaco in the successful defense of Todd Schnitt’s lawsuit against Bubba for defamation. During the Sirius Satellite and RadioIO days, I produced and co-hosted a radio show with The Diacos. Eventually, the show was just Dan Diaco and me, so you can imagine some of the heated debates we got into on that show.

Since 2014, I have been the managing partner of the personal injury practice at Hunter Law, P.A., joining forces with Bubba’s go-to family law attorney, Regina Hunter. I have been a regular contributor with Bubba except for the time when I Don Majkowskied myself off the show due to caring for and trying to protect my cancer-stricken mother from COVID. Unfortunately for Bubba and his listeners, I’m like herpes and he just can’t get rid of me. I have weaseled my way back into regular appearances but, given the way I irritate Bubba, that is almost certain not to last. When I am not working as a kick-ass personal injury lawyer, I enjoy spending time with my beautiful wife and daughter, traveling, attending sporting events, and playing mediocre golf. I have donated my time and money to numerous charitable organizations throughout Tampa Bay and I look forward to living out the rest of my years in Tampa as it is the only place I want to be.”
